Brickell City Centre is transforming the heart of downtown Miami. An achievement in innovation and artistry, the mixed-use space is comprised of two residential towers, two mid-rise office buildings and the EAST, Miami Hotel above a supercharged fashion and culinary experience.

After four years of extensive planning and construction, the three-level, vertically-integrated, open-air luxury retail center unveiled 500,000 square feet of high-end retail, fine dining and entertainment space. The retail center is anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue as well as the first CMX luxury dine-in movie theater location in the U.S. and Miami’s first three-level Italian food hall, which are both soon to open.

Brickell City Centre’s diverse mix of luxury and contemporary stores features a remarkable amount of international brands breaking ground in the U.S. such: as David’s Tea, Nest Casa, Acqua di Parma, Addict, Orlebar Brown, Adolfo Dominguez, Agent Provocateur, Giuseppe Zanotti, Porsche Design, AllSaints, Häagen-Dazs, Pubbelly Sushi, American Harvest, Harmont & Blaine, Richard Mille, Saks Fifth, Armani Collezioni, Audemars Piguet, Bally, Koko & Palenki, Sephora, Big Easy Wine Bar & Grill, Ted Baker London, BOSS, Victoria’s Secret, Lululemon Athletica, Vilebrequin

The shopping center connects with BCC’s five towers, including two 390-unit luxury condominiums REACH and RISE, both with limited inventory available, two class-A mid-rise office towers currently leased by Akerman LLP, WeWork and McKinsey & Company, and Brickell City Centre’s flagship hotel, EAST, Miami.

Developed by Hong Kong-based Swire Properties, Inc. along with partners Whitman Family Development and Simon Property Group, Brickell City Centre serves as a regional shopping destination housing three levels of luxury, contemporary, international and exclusive-to-Miami brands.

The shopping center will seamlessly connect with Miami’s key transportation nodes. Swire Properties is incorporating a Miami Metromover stop that exits directly into the shopping center’s third floor to allow easy and convenient access near Zara. The development houses two-levels of underground parking to give customers easy access to the center, despite Miami’s congested roadways.

The entire development is interconnected by its architectural crown jewel, the innovative CLIMATE RIBBON™, a $30 million elevated trellis of steel, glass, and fabric. The Ribbon connects all components of the project while shielding the retail center from the sun, harnessing Miami’s bay breezes to provide natural air conditioning, and collecting rainwater to recycle into irrigation for the center’s rooftop gardens and nearby agriculture. Not only does the climate ribbon transform outdoor shopping in Miami into a pleasant and memorable experience, but it gives the center a Silver LEED rating as an environmentally-friendly urban development.
